The Ark and Great Flood!

An amazing and stirring account occurs in the Holy Bible in Genesis 6-9! The account of the ark and great flood has challenged many readers throughout history! Does the account challenge you? In Genesis 6:14 God said to Noah, "Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch." The rooms were for the two-of-a-kind animals and Noah's family! In Genesis 6:17, "And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die." Do you even believe this account? Right here in the middle of this blog this writer wants to clarify one thing: the account of the ark, great flood, and God's judgement is a true, biblical account written by Moses, inspired by God to draw us closer to God! Everything written in this account really happened!
We must prepare ourselves in light of this account! God's loving judgement can be very harsh! But remember the reason for God's judgement______________ SINFUL AND WICKED PEOPLE! God does not and will not put up with sin, which is disobedience to God or rebellion to God! The flood came and killed all, except Noah and his family, because "Noah walked with God."
